Discussion
CURATED BY LUCA GRECO
As part of the ongoing programme of Assemblaggi Provvisori (Provisional Assemblages), we present a series of lectures in which specialists from different academic fields (sociology, anthropology, art history, philosophy, musicology, cinema, linguistics ...) present works based on the themes of gender. This will be a unique occasion for artists, researchers, activists and anyone interested in these issues to exchange ideas within a unique atmosphere of discourse, openness and dialogue.

Gender Languages: Body, Disability, Speech
This first series of lectures will focus on the language of gender in all its diversity and richness. Gender will be considered as a system of signs in relation to verbal and non-verbal language, body and animality. How does language determine what we are and what sets us apart? How can we use language to describe the body and animality?
