Three elderly toy shop owners are faced with the problem of declining sales, low foot traffic and changes that are too fast for their weary legs.
La Burla is not only a business giving way to multinational corporations, but the dream of three friends, their world and their lives confronting the powerful wind closing their shutters. 
A simple, poetic and entertaining story, told through the magic of the circus, finding its natural habitat in play and the fragility of life.
Since 2011, Madame Rebiné has explored the figure of the elderly as a poetic and comic icon, a natural clown, full of human contrasts; gentleness and toughness, altruism and selfishness, suffering and euphoria, fear and recklessness. This has given rise to shows and projects that give voice, space and dignity to old age.
