As part of the ongoing programme of “Assemblaggi Provvisori” (“Provisional Assemblages”), we present a series of discussions in which specialists from different academic fields (sociology, anthropology, art history, philosophy, musicology, cinema, linguistics etc.) present works based on gender issues. This will be a unique opportunity for artists, researchers, activists and anyone interested* in these issues to address these questions within an atmosphere of exchange, openness and dialogue.

This second series of discussions will be focussed on the relationship between feminism, gender and the arts (cinema, theatre, performance, music). How do gender and feminism studies help us to think about artistic media in unexpected and original ways? How is the use of artistic spaces and tools affected by gender and how do they introduce new subjects and relationships?
