"A true Englishman doesn't joke when he is talking about so serious a thing as a wager"
J. Verne
Around the World in Eighty Days is a classic adventure novel published in 1873. In the story, Phileas Fogg of London and his French valet Passepartout attempt to circumnavigate the world in 80 days on a £20,000 wager set by his friends at the Reform Club. A dynamic show, full of gestural and musical suggestions, from diverse continents. The audience will be involved in a great modern fable: Phileas Fogg and Passepartout accompany young and old through distant lands and mysterious places. But it won’t be a quiet journey... who knows what tricks Detective Fix will resort to in order to prevent the incredible venture!
