The three works of of the company, CaRma are focussed on the dynamics of extinction.
Epica pop, born in 2009 in the woods of Scompiglio and presented here in video format, is a game of presence that springs from the objectification of a colony of pandas. The video documents the sightings of a group of, and solitary, pandas from their first appearance to their migration in an attempt to find a new habitat for the survival of the species.
CaRma - Epica POP
Set in a swimming pool, Kokoro – portrait of a hikikomori is the “epic” tale of a man who literally dives into isolation and dies under the gaze of some pandas. This same isolation (hikikomori) will also be the cause of death of the goldfish-protagonist, Kokoro (in Japanese, Heart, but also the union between mind and spirit).
CaRma - Kokoro
La verità è che mi manchi (The Truth is that I Miss You), the last act of the cycle, is a reappropriation of one's own identity: one analyses the relationships, one senses that something is missing, that something is extinct. The panda is already a memory, a mere pretext for something that is no more. Extinction has been accomplished.

The video Epica Pop will be played on a loop from 14.00 in the SPE – Performance and Exhibition Space.
