The Associazione Culturale Dello Scompiglio participates in the XIII Contemporary Arts Day organised by AMACI to promote contemporary arts. Free admission to the following installations, all day long:

The installation Camera #4 – Il Naufragio examines how the traditional dichotomy between male and female is imposed, through education, on the wounds that it creates and which remain open, and on the manipulation to which each of us is subjected, and attempts to subvert the experience of the impossibility of man to go beyond all“limit-situations”.
The installation can only be viewed one visitor at a time. Prior booking is highly recommended.

The video installation round midnight / portraits is an adaptation and development of one of the videos shown originally at the homonymous performance by the director and artist Cecilia Bertoni, presented by Compagnia Dello Scompiglio in 2016.
The installation can only be viewed by five visitors at a time.

The work, developed in the Performance Space at Scompiglio, examines, through two looped videos, the capability of imagination connected to the darkness that envelops us when the night comes and we find ourselves in the middle of nature or in a context that is not usual for us. A work on the borders that divide the internal and the external, security and possibility, reality and imagination when confronted with something we cannot control, our primordial fears of the dark and our need for a place to feel safe. At the same time the work casts itself as an activator di consciousness, as a reflection on the manipulation that our steps and actions can accomplish in a daily context without a real and true awareness.
