The vocal ensemble, Musicatreize of Marseille, in collaboration with the French Embassy and the Ars Ludi ensemble from Rome, presents “Dyonisus”, a concert focussing on the meeting between the Dionysian and the Apollonian, as part of the festival “Suona francese” (“French Sounds”), the musical season of the Institut français in Italy. For this event the Italian composer Lorenzo Pagliei, who currently works at the IRCAM, Institut de Recherche et de Coordination Acoustique/Musique in Paris, presents a new composition for percussion and electronics featuring a sophisticated sound processor that he has created himself.
