In a rented room, a love develops between a man and his toy lover, his slave. The man takes, consumes, leaves, he can’t be seen; the lover, however, remains, to pick up his things. Re-live their story through the objects they have touched together, objects like him, destined to be cared for by a grey cleaning woman. What will happen when two distant realities, a woman always dressed in grey and a Japanese Manga character, meet?
What if, instead of running away scared, they try to get to know one another; then the day-to-day objects acquire different significance in the hands of each of them, in the way they remember them, handle them, their experiences. Then it turns out, it’s just a question of perspective, of viewpoint; sometimes the name entraps, instead of helping; learning by way of the names eliminates possibilities, instead of adding to them; a new grammar, new declensions are already all around us, there is no logic of knowledge, but it is better to abandon oneself to life. Recorded words, written words, exclaimed words all tell a story that is hidden from the public, and needs to be found.
