Trame su misura is a theatrical project composed of different shows focused on published and unpublished texts by Renzo Boldrini, who rewrites four famous fairy tales in a contemporary key. 

Trame su misura (volume 1)  is the “tailor-made” stage production for an audience of children and families. Using an original stage style that combines reading aloud, theatrical narration, live drawings and graphic compositions, video projections and animations of figures and objects, two stories are evoked, inspired by the fables The Wolf and the Seven Young Goats, and The Three Little Pigs.

The fairy tale, while maintaining the supporting structure of the original version, is rethought in an ironic way, imagining seven goats, sisters of particular beauty, among whom Juliet, the black goat, stands out. A difference in colour that creates disagreements and jealousies between them. That different hue of colour reveals itself, however, as an unforeseen and formidable "chance" to prevent Romeo the Wolf from gobbling up the seven sisters. He is dazzled by Juliet, by so much beauty, that he decides to devour only the black goat…but only with his eyes!!! 

A fairy tale in which love triumphs despite the differences in colour, appearance and origin. A story where everyone lives happily ever after... and anyone who doesn’t believe that will get toothache!!!

The three little pigs as no one has ever told it before

This version of the fairy tale of the three little pigs, while maintaining the narrative fundamentals of the original, intervenes at the mode of catharsis, at the inevitable defeat of the wolf. The ferocious animal, as if he already knows the script of the story, unexpectedly begins his attack at the brick house, coming easily through the chimney, then disdainfully destroys the wooden house, and, having enjoyed the first two brothers, as a little morsel to finish, he heads towards the smallest of the pigs, towards his house made of fragile straw... but here comes the twist: the little pig is not afraid and challenges the wolf to a sensational challenge: who is more hungry, who eats more in the forest, the wolf or the pig? A battle fought to the tip of... the teeth, to the last bite, so that everyone can live happily ever after.
