John Cage: 4’33” Lesson in Fungi

The Associazione Culturale Dello Scompiglio, directed by Cecilia Bertoni, has published a catalogue dedicated to the project John Cage: 4’33” Lesson in fungi, a festival to celebrate the double anniversary of the great American, that ran from June to December 2012 with concerts, musical theatre, performances, dance, visual arts, and readings.

The events took place in various locations in Lucca and the province, including the Tenuta Dello Scompiglio.
Artistic direction of the project was under Antonio Caggiano, already a presence in other Dello Scompiglio productions and founder of the percussion ensemble Ars Ludi.

The catalogue John Cage: 4’33” Lezione sui funghi includes the CD “Living Room Music” with a recording of the eponymous concert by Ars Ludi for the Festival Opera Barga on 7 July 2012.
