Movement Workshop
WITH DAVIDE SPORTELLI
A Feldenkrais Method activity that will kick off with simple and subtle exploratory games, then dive down to the level of what really happens in the body, and gently begin to broaden the range of options.
We will then dedicate ourselves to the construction of a performative field in which to act is an extension of seeing, in which perceiving and influencing are gradations of the same multifaceted reality. The distinctions between me and you, outside and inside, comply and initiate will be permeable, transitory, transmutable, in view of an expanded body, an enlarged identity in which ”being with” will be the vehicle for a generative movement through directions, dimensions, distances, forces and steps.

Davide Sportelli is a performance artist active as a dancer, actor, choreographer, and movement and improvisation teacher in the fields of dance, theatre and cinema.
He has collaborated, amongst others, with: Sasha Waltz & Guests, Sosta Palmizi, Giorgio Barberio Corsetti, Caterina Sagna, Michäel D’Auzon, Amaraoui‐Burner Project, William Forsythe for “Human Writes”, Thomas Steyaert / DOT504, Alex Rígola, Stefano Scandaletti / Teatro Stabile del Veneto, Cie Affari Esteri, Alessandro Rossetto / Jolefilm.
He has directed dance shows and choreographic installations in many countries with the support of Summer Studio P.A.R.T.S./ROSAS, Radial System Berlin, Tanec Praha, Elledanse and VŠMU Bratislava, Scenario Pubblico, Università Mimar Sinan Istanbul, Korea National University of the Arts.
The educational research that Davide Sportelli has shared since 2008 at the prestigious international institution is IN ACTO, a living and constantly evolving compendium of ways of activation and interaction for the contemporary performer and curious spirits. An invitation for the body to become a space of visions and vision of spaces.
Fees
The workshop will take place only if the minimum number of 6 participants is reached, with a maximum of 20 people.
